Mini Perfume Collection

Today I'm sharing my mini perfume collection. I've collected these five over the years and I have them displayed on a shelf. They're too cute to use! Do you display your fragrances?
Versace Bright Crystal Absolu, Chloe Love Story, Dior J'adore, Calvin Klein Eternity Now, Bottega Veneta
And in case you're wondering the perfume I am using right now is Carven L'eau de toilette.

The Ordinary Haul

I'm so excited to try The Ordinary! I've been wanting to try this brand for a while now but was hesitant to order online. I actually hardly ever shop online. Luckily it is available in store at Curlique in Vancouver. I picked up four products because they only had about seven different ones in stock. They sell the entire skincare range but not the foundations. I might go back when they re-stock because I want to get the lactic acid. Hopefully they will sell the foundations and suncare in the future.

The four products I bought are:

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - This is a hydrator. I've never tried hyaluronic acid before so I hope it works for my skin.

100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil - This is another hydrator. I had originally tried rose hip seed oil from the brand Ole Henrikson at Sephora but it's quite expensive so I never repurchased even though I really liked it. I'm so happy that this one is a much better price!

"Buffet" - This is a multi-techno…

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy Review

I've heard good things about the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy so I decided to try it out for myself. I actually got both the regular clear one and this Rosy Red version. I thought the red version is more unique so I'd try it first. This lip balm has a mint scent and even though I don't usually like mint lip balm this one is not too strong so I don't mind it. I've been using it for over a month so I can give a thorough review. I do find it's moisturizing and I like the consistency. Those are the pros but there are some cons.

One big negative about this product is the packaging. As you can see in the picture above the applicator gets messy. I really wish they would change the packaging!

Left swatch is blended out and is more like how the colour appears on the lips. I thought I would like the slight red tint more than I do. I find the colour bleeds and that doesn't look nice. Overall I don't care for this rosy red and much prefer the regular …

Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations

Sephora VIB Sale 2017 by initialed featuring scented candles

The Sephora VIB sale is upon us and here are some of my recommendations. Some of these products I have and love, some I want to try and some would make amazing gifts.

Deborah Lippman nail polish - I love this brand of nail polish. I have a black glitter shade that is my favourite. This berry shade is perfect for the wintertime. If you wear nail polish you should definitely check out this brand.

Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder - This sale is the perfect time to stock up on staple items like this setting powder. This powder is perfect for setting your entire face or baking. I have a mini size one that I'm using right now.

Becca shimmering skin perfector pressed highlighter- If you like highlighters then you need a Becca one in your collection. I have the shade champagne pop and it's my go to highlighter. They have lots of different shades that suit every skintone so you're sure to find one that suits yo…
